Oakdale Police Blotter: Burglar Used Pry Bar for Apartment Break-in
About $400 worth of items were reportedly stolen in the burglary.
A burglar used a pry bar to break into a Glenbrook Avenue apartment Wednesday and stole about $400 worth of items, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
A resident in the apartment reported that someone broke in between 4 a.m. and 3:40 p.m., the report says. Items stolen include an Xbox 360 and a piggy bank containing $100, according to the report.
The property damage estimate for the door was $500 the report says.

The following incidents were also reported to Oakdale police May 2:
- Someone broke out the rear passenger side window of a car parked at between 6 and 7:30 p.m. and stole a $60 purse that contained a driver’s license and financial cards. The property damage estimate was $100.
- A $250 iPod was stolen after being left on the counter in the coffee shop at for about six minutes.
