Multiple car break-ins were also reported.

A 30 year-old Oakdale man was cited Monday, June 27, for racing his remote control car on 50th Street after police told him to stop, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.

An officer saw the man driving the gas-powered car along the eastbound shoulder of 50th Street and told him to keep the car off the road, according to the report. An anonymous motorist later flagged the officer down to report that the man had the toy car cross directly in front his vehicle, and then race alongside it, the report says.

The officer returned to the site in the 6900 block of 50th Street and saw the man driving the car back and forth across the entire width of the roadway.
