Oakdale Police Blotter: Resident Reports Theft of Marijuana Pipes

In other reports, more than $1,000 worth of items was stolen from an unattached garage.

A resident in the 1500 block of Hallmark Avenue called police Wednesday evening to report that a man named “D-Lo” stole her marijuana pipes.

While police were in the apartment, marijuana stems were visible on the living room table.

Police spoke with “D-Lo” who said the complainant owes him $15.

Following are other incidents that were reported May 11 - 13:

  • Someone broke out the passenger window of a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 4000 block of Gershwin Avenue between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. and stole a DVD player, amplifier and laptop. The total value of items stolen is $1,008 and the property damage estimate was $200.
  • Police responded to the 6000 block of 27th Street for an injured goose. The goose had an arrow in its lower body. Police assisted in killing the goose, and booked the arrow into property.

May 12:

  • A resident in the 2800 block of Hillvale Court reported that their dog was bit in the left side and near the right eye by a neighbor’s pitbull mix.
  • A $125 GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Helena Road. The item was later found at a pawnshop.
  • A 50-year-old New Richmond, WI, man was cited for theft after allegedly trying on a $139 pair of boots at and then walking out of the store with them on without paying for them.

May 13:

  • A 21-year-old woman was arrested in the 1400 block of Granada Avenue for domestic assault. The woman allegedly damaged property and bit a man twice leaving visible marks during an argument.
  • A snow blower, weed whip, generator and air compressor with a total value of $1,148 were stolen from an unattached garage between midnight an 5 a.m. Entry was gained through a side door.
