Oakdale Police Blotter: Squad Car Hit While Making a U-Turn
In other reports, a 14-year-old returned to Skyview Middle School after receiving a trespass notice and a 16-year-old was receiving threatening text messages.
An Oakdale police officer was hit Thursday, March 8, while making a U-turn onto southbound Geneva Avenue, according to an Oakdale Police Department report.
The squad car was hit in the driver’s side rear door after it activated its lights to stop a vehicle, according to the report. The officer reported soreness in the back and chest and a tingling left arm, the report says.
Both cars were towed, according to the report.

- A 14-year-old who had been trespassed from all School District 622 property was seen at on Feb. 21, between 3 and 3:30 p.m. and getting onto an activity bus. The boy admitted to being at the school and getting on the bus. He was given a juvenile citation.
- An Oakdale woman reported that her 16-year-old daughter was receiving text messages from a former friend threatening to beat her up. Police contacted the girl and told her to stop.
March 9:
- Police stopped a driver traveling east in the 6300 block of Hudson Boulevard with his high beams on, and found out his license was revoked. The vehicle was released to a valid driver and the report was forwarded to the city attorney.
