Oakdale Subway Robbed, Suspect Arrested
After pointing a gun at Subway employees, a man fled the sandwich store with $400 in cash, according to an Oakdale police report. He was later arrested on robbery charges.
On June 10, a man robbed the Subway at the 1000 block of Geneva Avenue, according to an Oakdale police report.
At approximately 9:42 p.m., the man entered the Subway store and pointed a gun at employees. The man demanded money, collected $400 and fled the store on foot.
On June 11, at about 10:45 p.m., Oakdale police officers located the robbery suspect at the 1200 block of Gentry Avenue. According to the police report, the man “ran into the residence, then exited a short time later.”

Police were given consent to search the residence and found a “revolver matching the weapon used in the robbery” in the upstairs bedroom.
Police arrested Demetrice Miller, 21, of St. Paul, on aggravated robbery charges.
