Oakdale, Woodbury Fire Departments Help Fight Lake Elmo House Fire

Officials don't yet know what caused the fire.

The Oakdale and Woodbury fire departments were part of a team that helped battle a Lake Elmo house fire around 10:30 p.m. Monday night, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The residents of the house, in the 5700 block of Highlands Court North, got out safely, the press release says.

Officials don't know what caused the fire, and they're currently investigating it, according to the release.

Other fire departments that responded include Lake Elmo, Stillwater, Mahtomedi, Bayport, Lower St. Croix Valley, North St. Paul, Maplewood and Hudson.
