Pedestrian Fatally Hit on Century Avenue North of I-94

A 48-year-old man was struck and killed while crossing Century Avenue (Highway 120) just north of Interstate 94 Thursday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Stephen S. Tague, of St. Paul, was fatally hit at about 6:43 a.m. at Innovation Boulevard, according to the State Patrol.

Century Avenue between Hudson Road and Fourth Street was closed down due to the accident, however, it was reopened around 10 a.m.

The driver was Grant A. Melby, 45, of Maplewood, in a Saturn Vue, according to the State Patrol.

State Patrol officers are doing a preliminary investigation and accident reconstruction.
