Prison Time for Man Who Punched Oakdale Woman

Terry Lee Sheffler, 32, was sentenced to two years in prison following his third domestic-assault related conviction.

A St. Paul man has been sentenced to two years in prison after he punched an Oakdale woman in the face during a July 28 incident in Oakdale.

Terry Lee Sheffler, 32, was convicted of domestic assault.

Police had been called to the home at the 3800 block of Granada Lane earlier in the night on a report of a fight between two men, and one man, identified at Sheffler, later returned and forced his way into the home, according to the criminal complaint.

The victim and her friend came home to find several items—including a lamp, mirror and television—damaged, the complaint says.
