Reports: Oakdale Man Arrested in Killing at St. Paul Bar

An Oakdale man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a bar in St. Paul that left one man dead Sunday morning, according to multiple reports.

Yia Her was apprehended in St. Paul just hours after the shooting, in which Vone Moua, 45, was killed and two others were injured.

Moua, who also worked as a social worker, was the owner of Malina’s Sport Bar on Dale Street, according to the Star Tribune.

Her, 26, had not been charged as of Monday afternoon, according to the Pioneer Press.

The two other men who were shot during the early-morning hours of Sunday, June 9, were treated for injuries not deemed life-threatening.

Police haven’t specified whether they are looking for additional suspects, and it does not appear to be a random incident, according to the Pioneer Press.

"We continue to follow up on leads that are presently coming in," St. Paul Police Sgt. Paul Paulos, a department spokesman, told the newspaper.
