Reward Offered for Information on Missing Oakdale Woman Case

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is partnering with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer a cash reward in the case of Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who has been missing since Dec. 9.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is partnering with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer up to a $1,000 reward for information regarding the disappearance of Danielle Jelinek.

Jelinek, 27, was reported missing on Dec. 9 after she was last seen with her friend, Aaron Schnagl, at his residence in Chisago Lake Township.

Authorities have searched for Jelinek in the area of Bone Lake and have not been able to turn up any clues to her disappearance.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office announced the partnership on Facebook on Friday, stating the $1,000 reward has been offered "for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Danielle."

Chisago County Sheriff Rick Duncan told the South Washington County Bulletin that tips are beginning to dry up and he hopes that a reward will be an incentive for someone who may be hesitant to speak up.

People can submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by phone, text or online. For more information on how to submit a tip to Crime Stoppers click here.

People can submit any information about Jelinek by also calling a 24-hour dispatch number at 651-257-4100.
