Baker's 2009 Mazda was missing from her apartment, which led authorities to Fox after finding the car and checking its registration. Fox was arrested on Dec. 29, the Oakdale-Lake Elmo Review reports.

While some reports said that Fox was an acquaintance of Baker's, the Star Tribune reported that the two had been dating.
