Two Teens from Woodbury Seriously Injured in Afton Crash
A man and juvenile male from Woodbury were seriously injured in a two-car crash Monday night.
Two juvenile males from Woodbury were transported to Regions Hospital with serious injuries following a two-car crash on Neal Avenue South and 15th Street South in Afton, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were called to the scene at about 7:30 p.m. Monday night, according to the release.
The driver, Blake Sowle, 17, and a juvenile male whose name has not been released, are both in critical condition, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office. The two Woodbury residents were in a Mazda Tribute.

There is some question about the unnamed juvenile's age, according to Cmdr. Cheri Dexter. The scene Monday night was confusing and neither could speak when authorities arrived. The second juvenile does not have a driving record, she said.
The other car’s occupants—driver Benjamin Lower, 36, two 3-year-old girls and a 6-year-old girl, all of Lakeland—were transported to Lakeview Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff's office. They were in a Dodge Ram truck.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, , Lakeview Ambulance, and Lower St. Croix Valley and Bayport fire departments responded to the scene, the release says.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the crash, the release says.
