Washington County Crime Roundup: March 5-11

Editor's note: The Washington County Crime Roundup includes first appearance dates and sentencings of those charged with felonies and gross misdemeanors and prosecuted by the Washington County Attorney's Office. Those charged with crimes should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Oakdale
  • Por Xiong, 26, of Oakdale, was charged March 6 with felony terroristic threats and second-degree assault as well as misdemeanor domestic assault. 
  • , 31, of Maplewood, was charged March 9 with felony possession of burglary or theft tools. 
  • David Harland McKinnon, 48, of North St. Paul, was sentenced March 12 to 17 months in prison (stayed) and five years probation for felony fifth-degree drug possession. 
Woodbury
  • Kara Marie Pengilly, 38, of Woodbury, was sentenced March 1 to 13 days in jail, two years probation and given a $3,000 fine for credit card fraud.  
  • , 19, of Forest Lake, was sentenced March 2 to 17 months in prison (stayed) and five years probation for theft.
Stillwater
  • Nathaniel Jon Fritz, 27, of MCF-Oak Park Heights, was sentenced to 34 months in prison on March 6 for fourth-degree assault on two correctional officers.
  • Trissa Amy Herbst, 19, of Stillwater, was sentenced on March 7 to 75 days in jail and five years probation for third-degree aiding and abetting burglary.
Washington County Sheriff's Office
  • Stephen Fredrick Mahley, 43, of Afton, was charged March 8 with reckless discharge of a firearm in a municipality.
  • Benjamin James Dahlquist, 31, of Maplewood, was charged March 2 with first-degree aiding and abetting burglary and aiding and abetting theft of a motor vehicle. 
  • Edgar Omar Cano Rodriguez, 19, of Lake Elmo, was sentenced March 1 to five years probation and 10 years conditional release for third-degree criminal sexual conduct. 
  • Robert Michael McEwen, 47, was sentenced March 6 to 120 days in jail and five years probation for fifth-degree drug possession. 
  • Brenda Sue Larson, 57, of May Township, was sentenced March 5 to a year in jail and a $900 fine for third-degree DWI.
