City Announces 'Touch a Truck' Event

Touch a Truck will be held at Walton Park on Tuesday.

Have you ever wondered what it's like inside of a fire truck? Or how about a police squad car? 

The city will be hosting its annual "Touch a Truck" event at for anyone who would like to see or climb inside of a squad car, ambulance, fire truck, city snow plow and other similar vehicles. 

Law enforcement officials will be on hand to show the vehicles to residents and answer questions. 

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. There will also be free ice cream and concessions. There is no cost to attend. 

Also coming up at Walton Park is Oakdale's annual "Family Fun Flatables" event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22. Concessions will also be available and there is no cost to this event.
