Ramps from eastbound and westbound Highway 36 to I-694 south are currently closed, but should reopen in early October when the mainline of I694 is resurfaced, said a spokeswoman of the state Department of Transportation.

I-694 has been reduced to a single lane for the last several weeks, but both lanes should reopen near the end of October. There may be additional work in November on the west ramps of I-694 and Highway 61.
