MnDOT to Outline Highway 36 Study at Open House in Oakdale

The study is looking at developing preliminary design concepts for Highway 36 intersections at Highway 120/Century Avenue and Hadley Avenue/County Highway 35 in North St. Paul and Oakdale.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled a Wednesday, July 17, open house to go over the basics of a study that will shape future plans for Highway 36.

The open house will be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave. N.

The study is looking at developing preliminary design concepts for Highway 36 intersections at Highway 120/Century Avenue and Hadley Avenue/County Highway 35 in North St. Paul and Oakdale.

MnDOT officials will outline preliminary design concepts, including “combined interchange, low-cost and at-grade concepts,” according to a release.

Other project information will also be on display and project staff will be on hand to answer questions. No formal presentation is scheduled.

After the open house, the preliminary design concepts will be available for review and comment on the project website.

The study is scheduled to be completed by late 2013.
