Oakdale Library to Close for a Day for Parking Lot Construction
The book drop will also be unavailable as crews begin work on the project.
Reconstruction of the Oakdale Library's parking lot begins Monday, Aug. 19.
The Oakdale Library will be closed one day, Friday, Aug. 23, during the reconstruction. The book drop will also be unavailable.
The library is expected remain open during the rest of the construction, though there will be limited access to the parking lot, according to a release from Washington County. Library users are encouraged to car pool, bike or walk to the facility.

The project will replace deteriorated pavement and sidewalks, and also address stormwater drainage issues on the site.
Some of the pedestrian features on the site that don’t comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act will be fixed, as well.

Construction is expected to be complete sometime in September.
