Property Tax Notices Coming this Week
New state law has changed the way property taxes on homesteaded properties are calculated.
Most Washington County property owners should receive an estimate of their 2012 property tax bill in the mail this week, the Stillwater Gazette reported.
The estimate might look different from last year's because there's been a state . The Market Value Homestead Credit program has been eliminated, however, homeowners whose home is worth less $413,778 will see a reduction in how much of their property value is taxable.
