Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek Jailed on Pending Assault Charges

Washington County Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek was arrested at a Woodbury home and jailed on pending domestic assault charges, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Office jail booking report.

He was arrested on pending charges of domestic assault by strangulation and domestic assault-bodily harm, at the residence in the 10900 block of Oak Grove Circle, which is listed as Pulkrabek's home address.

He was arrested at about 5 p.m. and released around 8 p.m., according to the booking report.

The Ramsey County Attorney's Office will handle any charges due to a potential conflict of interest in Washington County, said Kim Petersen, of the .

Pulkrabek, who is married to Oakdale City Council member Lori Pulkrabek, represents Oakdale and a portion of Woodbury on the Washington County Board.
