School Board Candidates to Speak at Upcoming Forum

A candidate forum for the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District is on Monday, Oct. 22.

School board candidates for District 622 will be speaking up on Oct. 22. 

The League of Women Voters of Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights is sponsoring a candidate forum at 7 p.m. on Monday for school board candidates in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District. The candidate forum will take place in the board room at the District Education Center in North St. Paul.

The forum will be an opportunity for residents to hear from the candidates running for school board. The forum will be rebroadcast on Channel 20.

Four school board seats are up for election in November. Five residents of School District 622 have filed for school board:

  • Theresa Augé of Oakdale (incumbent)
  • Rich Bennett of Maplewood
  • Steve Hunt of North St. Paul (incumbent)
  • Nancy Livingston of North St. Paul (incumbent)
  • Becky Neve of Maplewood.

The election will be held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Residents will vote at the same precinct and polling place that have been established by the cities for the general election.
