Signal Light at Tartan Crossing Entrance on Council Agenda

The Oakdale City Council is scheduled Tuesday to consider calling for a feasibility report and a public hearing on plans to install a signal light on 10th Street at the entrance to Tartan Crossing and Bergen Plaza.

The Oakdale City Council is scheduled to consider taking another step in the redevelopment of the Oakdale Mall site at its meeting Tuesday, May 8.

At its regular meeting at 7 p.m., the council will consider authorizing plans and calling for a hearing on a project to install a signal light at the intersection of 10th Street and Hallmark Avenue—which is the entrance to Tartan Crossing, as well as Bergen Plaza, according to a staff report.

City staff hopes to complete the installation this construction season, the report says. Staff is recommending the council approve preparation of a feasibility report and set a hearing on the project for Tuesday, June 12.
