Two File for City Council So Far
Filing for city council seats opened on July 31 and last until Aug. 14.
Incumbents Paul Reinke and Stan Karwoski both filed for city council seats on Tuesday.
They are currently the only two candidates who have filed for seats on the city council. Each city council seat is for a four-year term.
Those interested in running for a city council seat still have until Aug. 14 to file with the city. To do so you must be at least 21 years old, have lived in Oakdale for 30 days prior to the election and must not be running for another office.

Terms begin in January and the monthly salary for a councilmember is $585.
