Back to School Reminders for School District 622
School is right around the corner, so the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District wants to remind students and parents about several things before the school year begins.
School begins on Sept. 4 for first through 12th grades and Sept. 5 for kindergarteners in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District. Here are some reminders for parents and students as they prepare to go back to school.
Apply for Free and Reduced Lunch
Families can apply for free and reduced lunches using an online form. Enter your state, school district and family information. Otherwise families can use the paper application form. For more information visit the school district's website. Applications are due every school year.
Manage Your Student's Account
Families can keep track of their student's account information using by using the PIN numbers assigned to each student. PIN numbers carry over from year to year. Parents can also prepay for their students' meals using charge cards, debit cards or electronic checks. For more information click here.

Transportation
The school district provides the bus routes for elementary, middle, and high schools as well as non-public schools in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District. Or visit Oakdale Patch's Back-to-School guide and search for your child's school name.
Shots and Immunizations
District 622 requires that every student have his or her shots and immunizations before the school year begins. State law and the school board require written proof of children's scheduled shots for grades 1-12. The school district is holding immunization clinics at the District Education Center in North St. Paul for students who have not yet received their shots. For more information click .
