District 622 Board Scheduled To Vote Tuesday on Budget

The District 622 School Board is scheduled to vote on its revenue and expenditure budgets for the 2011-2012 school year at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 21.

Projected revenues to the general fund are $112,215,992, while projected expenditures are $115,406,234, according to a staff report to the school board. Revenue for all funds is projected to be $145,301,912 while expenditures are projected to be $156,584,949, the report says. See the photo section this article for all the numbers.

Other agenda items for the meeting include:

• A vote on whether to reject all bids for the purchase of two special needs school buses and to award the bid for trash and recyclables collection to Allied Waste Services for $93,277.
• A vote on whether to commit unassigned fund balance money toward the $850,000 cost of a new phone system.
