Game of The Week: North St. Paul vs. South St. Paul in Boy's Soccer

North St. Paul, which defeated No. 1 Stillwater 2-1 Saturday, faces crosstown rival South St. Paul Tuesday night on the road.

LAST MEETING: North St. Paul defeated South St. Paul 9-0 earlier this season.

ON THE LINE
The Polars, ranked #5 in Class AA, defeated No. 1 Stillwater 2-1 Saturday. They face crosstown rival South St. Paul, a team that they handled easily 9-0 at home. However, the Packers are ranked tenth in Class A and would love a chance at revenge.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Eric Manteuffel – North St. Paul goalie
The senior goalkeeper has helped lead a Polar defense that has allowed just 0.75 goals per game.

Hendrikson Zach – South St. Paul goalie
The senior goalkeeper has one shutout and is allowing just 2.2 goals per game.

POLARS WIN IF...
They can put pressure of the Packers’ defense. They have outscored their opponents 35-6 and are a strong defensive team that already has four shutouts.

PACKERS WIN IF...
They can forget about their game on September 1st versus North St. Paul. They allowed nine goals in that loss, but have allowed only ten goals in their other seven games.
