Tartan High School Group Planning 2015 Trip to Italy

Students and chaperones have the next year to raise the money for this 'trip of a lifetime.'

The Tartan “Magical History Tours” Trip program is planning a trip to Italy in March of 2015. The tours are led by Tartan High School World History teachers Dennis C. Andrewski and Glenn Hansen.

The 2015 trip is called the "Bell’ Italia" tour, and allows kids to explore and experience the sights, sounds, cuisine and historic areas of Italy.

Students will land in Milan, then travel to Verona and on to Venice. Next, they will travel to Sienna and Florence to see the many Renaissance works of arts and architecture of the Italian cities. Then, it’s off to Assisi and Rome to visit the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Roman Forum and Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Nuvona. The final day will be spent visiting the ruins of Pompeii and the Napoli Region.

The cost of the trip for Tartan students is currently at a very affordable price of $2,800. If students sign up before December 15th, they will be eligible for $200 off of the price of the trip.

The trip dates will be from March 6-15th, of 2015. One reason they are kicking off the trip far in advance is to allow kids more time to pay off the rip expenses over a longer period of time. Thus far, 18 students have already signed up. Both teachers are looking for an additional 20 or more students to attend a trip of a lifetime.

This will be Dennis C. Andrewski’s sixth trip to Europe as past destinations have included London, Paris, Dublin and Italy. If students or parents have any questions on how to sign up for the trip, they can contact Mr. Andrewski at Tartan High School via email, or give him a call at 651-702-8863 for more information.
