Blue Ribbon Bait & Tackle Fishing Expo

The Fishing Expo is a fun (and free) annual event that provides attendees an opportunity to gather at Blue Ribbon Bait & Tackle and speak with professional fishing guides and tackle distributors. Local anglers trade fish stories and enjoy open discussions of area lakes and the hottest new lures, all while taking advantage of the remarkable one-day discounts on tackle (10-50% off).

Notable guests this year include Larry Dahlberg, host of the “The Hunt for Big Fish” on the NBC Sports Network; Dick “The Griz” Gryzwinski, member of the National and Minnesota Fishing Halls of Fame; Travis Hultgren, lure designer and winning musky tournament angler; and Fishing Expo host Josh Stevenson, professional guide and holder of the Minnesota State Record Tiger Musky.

This event offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which guests can talk fishing, enjoy some food and beverages, take a gander at a few Yamaha G3 boats for sale, and be a part of the area’s growing fishing community.
