PLAYMAKERS
- Allen Medina-Gonzalez (Tartan- Linebacker) Considered the toughest player on the defensive side and team leader.
- Mitchel Grohs (Tartan– Quarterback) Served as backup for Drew Preiner last season. Throws a nice ball and has good pocket presence. His play will be key for the Titans who lost most of their offensive firepower to graduation.
- Ben McDonald (Mahtomedi– Running Back) KARE-11 preseason All-Metro selection. Getting recruiting looks from Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
- Luke Lindahl (Mahtomedi–Linebacker) Starting linebacker who splits carries at running back. He is a big, strong back with good speed.
TITANS WIN IF...
They can find offensive playmakers as former offensive coordinator Tim Murtha takes over as head coach. The Titans should be solid on defense with good linebacker play from Medina-Gonzalez and Dakota McGeehan.
ZEPHYRS WIN IF...
They can win if they can find stability at quarterback with the loss of projected starter of Andrew Lindquist, who is sidelined for a month in a stress fracture.
