North St. Paul faces Cretin-Derham Hall in the Section 4AAA semifinals Tuesday.

ON THE LINE
The Polars, who are the No. 3 seed, face No. 2 seed Cretin-Derham Hall in the Section 4AAA semifinals. North St. Paul defeated Roseville 3-1 in the quarterfinals. The Polars finished second in the loaded Classic Suburban Conference. The Raiders, who defeated Tartan 3-0 in the quarterfinals, won the Suburban East Conference with a perfect 10-0 mark. They did not lose a regular season match with all their five losses coming in tournaments. Cretin, which finished 18th in the final state poll, lost twice to Lakeville South, which is ranked No. 1 in Class AAA. The winner of this match faces the winner of top seed Hill-Murray versus No. 5 seed Woodbury.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Sophie Jaskulske – North St. Paul middle hitter
The UW Green Bay commit leads the team with 321 kills and 58 block aces. Jaskulske was an All-Conference selection last season.

Aubrey St. Martin – Cretin-Derham Hall setter
St. Martin leads the Raiders in assists and service aces.

POLARS WIN IF...
They can continue their strong late season play. The Polars have won 10 of their last 11 matches.

RAIDERS WIN IF...
They can serve well and put pressure on North St. Paul’s back row.
