Rowing Regatta Coming to Lake Elmo Park Reserve
The 110th annual North Western International Rowing Association Championship Regatta will be at the park this summer.
The Minneapolis Rowing Club will hold the 110th annual North Western International Rowing Association Championship Regatta at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve Aug. 2-4.
The club expects 400 competitors from the U.S. and Canada to participate in 512 rowing events.
Rowing clubs from Hudson, Wis., St. Paul, Eden Prairie, Long Lake and the University of St. Thomas will assist the Minneapolis Rowing Club in hosting the event.

The Lake Elmo Park Reserve public boat launch will be closed to the public Aug. 2-4; the Washington County board gave its approval for the closure of the launch at its June 18 meeting.
