Tartan Softball Team Rallies to Defeat Sibley 8-7

The Titans Softball team overcame a 7-2 deficit to beat Sibley Monday afternoon.

After giving up five runs in the second inning and trailing  7-2 after three innings, in the softball game against Sibley, the were discouraged, but not without hope. The first important reason for the comeback was the pitching of reliever Amanda Erickson, who helped keep the damage minimal and allow the Titans to fight back. Going into the fifth inning Tartan trailed 7-3 but well-timed hitting and baserunning led to an impressive five run rally to give the Titans an 8-7 lead which they didn't give up. 

Tartan is scheduled to play Mahtomedi at home  Wednesday April 27 at 4:15 p.m.
