Dear readers,
News coming straight from the Fall Leadership Retreat (FLC). Tartan for the first time in five years has a representative in district two, Annalise Wackerfuss Tartans very own Vice President. Annalise put together a brilliant campaign focused on founding new *chapters, and mentoring them in hopes to strengthen DECA as a whole. Annalise’s campaign slogan was “what’s the big fuss about Wackerfuss?”, and that’s exactly the question we hope to answer for you today. Annalise managed to win the Vice Presidency on a slim budget to say the least, she focused on hands on personal connections to people, according to a voting delegate Ben Lundquist. Anna carries herself as, a personable driven individual. She explained how exited she was to be in charge of new chapter development, and how much she looked forward to teaching others about DECA. Everyone here at tartan is incredibly proud of what she has been able to accomplish already, and we will keep you posted on all of the exiting things she is sure to do in the near future.
