We are all Juniors or Seniors that attend Tartan Senior High School. We are all students that are in a class called DECA. For the people that don't know what DECA is, it is a business class that focuses on the marketing side of business. For example we are the ones that run the school store that is in the front of the school. In the school store we sell 3 main groups of things. We sell food and beverage, spirit ware, and school supplies. We focus on how we can market everything in the school store. Like in the picture we advertise using the windows. This picture was taken during the PCU press release when we invited news stations and newspapers to come and see one of the few if not the first credit union branch in a school. That is just scratching the surface of what DECA is. We hope with this blog that we will be able to give you an inside look at what we do inside and outside of the classroom for our business class.
