The Feed My Starving Children event was organized by the Parable Fund and called "SCOOP: Global Hunger Response."
"The primary goal of SCOOP was to educate students and adults in the community about global poverty and hunger and provide a fun and practical way for them to respond to the need," Todd Christianson said. "A secondary goal was to pack 700,000 meals for starving people at our three-day event. We exceeded that goal by packing over 730,000 meals."
