First Winter Snowstorm of the Season Could Arrive Tuesday Night

Washington County is in a Winter Storm Watch until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

We could see some measurable snow in Washington County this week.

The National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for several Minnesota counties until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

"A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel," according to the NWS.

The area could see 4 to 8 inches of snow on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. We could see rain Monday and Tuesday.

Oakdale's winter parking restrictions began Nov. 1.

Also this week, road construction continues in the area.
