Santa Stops along Hadley Avenue in Oakdale to Kick off Holiday Happenings this Week

A special indoor market is a great place to grab some unique holiday items, while the green thumbs get into the holiday spirit this weekend as well.

The Oakdale Indoor Market season is now in full swing at the Oakdale Discovery Center.

More than 25 vendors will be sampling and selling cookie dough, frozen beef, breads, baked goods, chocolates, sauces, and more. Some of these great items make for wonderful gifts, so stop on by this unique market every other Saturday in December, including Dec. 14.

Also this week, Santa makes his trip down Hadley Avenue in Oakdale Monday, Dec. 9 in a decorated fire truck.

Beat the cold and warm up with Santa at several intersections on Hadley as he stops along the route from 41st Street down to Hadley Lane. The route will run from about 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Details can be seen in the attached flyer.

Also, this weekend, the Oakdale Gardening Club hosts its annual Holiday Luncheon. The event is set for 11 a.m. at the Lake Elmo Inn in Lake Elmo.
