Eagle Point Elementary School is a small school with a lot to offer. Special programs offered include English as a Second Language, an accelerated learning program and before- and after-school programs for students who are struggling. The school holds events to get parents involved, such as a family bingo night, and has an active parent group.

Volunteers from neighboring Hope Evangelical Free Church have worked on improvement projects at the school, and the two institutions cooperate with each other, including on the use of their parking lots.
