As a long-time guitarist, I have been in and out of many guitar/music stores - including many Guitar Centers – throughout the State. Unfortunately, not all Guitar Centers offer positive experiences. I have been on the receiving end of some very unpleasant Guitar Center experiences, whether that has been encountering unhelpful, uninformed or down-right insulting staff members or a lack of products. However, we in Oakdale have the pleasure of hosting the best Guitar Center in the State as far as I am concerned.

The degree of difference between the Oakdale Guitar Center and the many other Guitar Centers around Minnesota is extreme. While I have left other Guitar Centers feeling frustrated, never have I walked out of this Guitar Center, located in Oakdale right off of Inwood/Radio Dr., feeling unsatisfied. The staff is consistently pleasant and helpful, the building itself is quite large and therefore has the capacity to hold many more choices than other smaller Guitar Centers, and there are even quality luthiers on staff to service your instrument(s) whether it is just a stringing/setup job or major repair work. As a serious musician who plays as often as I can, I have made many purchases (including my main guitar) at this Oakdale Guitar Center, my church has purchased products at this Guitar Center and I would greatly recommend their services to any musician from Oakdale or the surrounding areas in the market for guitars, basses, drums or any other various music accessories.
