Got to agree...I do NOT smoke the stuff but I find the resources spent on busting pot offenses -Read More especially one such as this to be a colossal waste. There certainly is enough "real" crime going on here in Oakdale to fight - just read the Patch. If I was in law enforcement I'd be embarrassed to be part of such an investigation as this one. The entire "war" on drugs is a sham and utter hypocrisy when the most deadly drug of them all - alcohol. - is still the only one that's legal. I hope they let this guy off with an apology.

Remember, bridges/overpasses freeze before the rest of the roadway and refreeze faster afterRead More salting. This is because there is no latent heat stored up below the bridge. It loses heat/energy must faster and therefor freezes faster. Also, because of this it is much more susceptible to freezing rain.

If they, the Church league, is so concerned about the Safty of vulnerable kids then they should be pushing the Church to release all of its information as well instead of trying to put it back under the rock from where it was dug up from.

Seriously a story about a supporter of the guilty party accusing the whistle blower of not blowingRead More the whistle on everything they suspect they could know. Why is this a story?

I've waited 20 years for the so-called Minnesota Catholic Defense League to help us reachout toRead More clergy sexual abuse survivors and to also help us protect children -- they have been mute. Why do they now think they have social concerns for the scared souls of survivors and the children of today or those yet to be born? -- If they want to throw the word "hypocritical" around maybe they should speak into a mirror.
