An Oakdale man was recently sentenced to jail time on an assault conviction stemming from a December 2010 incident in which he head-butted his wife. The wife of Jeffrey Joseph Krieger, 41, called 911 at about 11 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2010, and told the dispatcher: “He broke my nose,” according to the criminal complaint. Police were sent to a home on Woodduck Place in Woodbury and found the victim shaking and crying. She told officers that she and Krieger, her estranged husband, had gotten into an argument and he grabbed her by the shoulders and head-butted her “extremely hard,” the complaint says. Oakdale woman charged with felony following incident in which she allegedly brandished a knife while her husband was holding their infant child.
An Oakdale woman faces a felony charge after she allegedly threatened her husband with a knife while he was holding their infant during an incident earlier this month. Mary Ayah Aban, 32, was charged with making terroristic threats and a misdemeanor domestic assault count following the April 19 incident. Just after midnight, Oakdale police were dispatched to an apartment at the 4000 block of Geneva Avenue. Officers arrived and found Aban and her husband, who told them during an argument she picked up a knife and threatened to kill him while he was holding their child, according to the complaint. An Oakdale woman has been charged with felony assault following a March 9 incident in which she allegedly cut her husband’s neck with a bread knife. Alexis Lou Johnson, 38, denied that she assaulted her husband during the argument, according to the criminal complaint. She also faces a misdemeanor domestic assault charge. Officers were dispatched to a 12th Street apartment building at about 2:45 a.m. March 9 after the alleged victim called police, the complaint says. Both parties told police they had gotten into an argument after the man returned home from a bar, according to the complaint. A St. Paul man is facing a terroristic threats charge after he allegedly threatened to stab his ex-girlfriend with a knife. Maurice Wade Dodd, 22, appeared in Washington County District Court last week for the June incident. According to the criminal complaint: The Oakdale Police Department responded to a call on the 4100 block of Gershwin Avenue. A woman claimed that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her. The woman told Dodd he could not visit her residence when she was not home because it made her mother uncomfortable. On June 28, Dodd was allegedly calling the woman's residence and throwing items at the door, according to the woman's mother. Police received a report that a mother assaulted her daughter with dog feces.
The Oakdale Police Department recieved a call that an Oakdale woman assaulted her daughter earlier this year. A 27-year-old woman called to report an incident that occurred on March 30. The woman claimed she was assaulted by her mother. According to the initial complaint, the woman claimed that her mother smeared dog feces in her face and shaved her head. The woman did not report a reason for the assault. The woman told police that she wanted the incident documented, but she did not want to pursue criminal charges. An Oakdale man who allegedly punched two men outside of Demori's Italian Restaurant in June was charged for third-degree assault that caused substantial bodily harm. John Paul Peterson, 29, was charged in Washington County District Court last week. Peterson was arrested on June 23 for the incident. According to the criminal complaint: The Oakdale Police Department responded to an assault report around 2 a.m. on June 23. When the officer arrived approximately 20 people were surrounding a male laying unconscious in the parking lot. Police arrested the suspect on Saturday for causing head injuries to another Oakdale resident.
A 29-year-old Oakdale man was arrested early Saturday morning for causing head injuries to another Oakdale man. Police received a call about a fight at Demori's Italian Restaurant. When officers arrived they found a 23-year-old Oakdale man lying unconscious outside of the building. The victim was transported to Regions Hospital. He had a broken nose, skull fracture and brain bleed, according to the initial complaint report. Officers picked up the suspect at Helena Road and Helmo Avenue and arrested him for third-degree assault. The man was booked in Washington County Jail.

Two men sustained injuries after they were attacked outside the Super Smokedale parking lot last week, according to police.
On June 14, Oakdale police were called to Bergen Plaza after they received a report of an assault at about 10 p.m. Upon arrival, police found a man in a car outside of Super Smokedale with a laceration on his neck and an injured right hand. According to the police report, he was assaulted with an "unknown object" and transported to United Hospital. Another man said he was punched in the face by the same unknown male. The victim told police that a man approached him as he was leaving Smokedale, punched him and damaged his car windshield with a pipe. Three or four other suspects left the scene when police arrived.

An Oakdale man allegedly assaulted a couple and damaged their car, then tried to pick a fight with police May 1 in the Rainbow Foods parking lot. Charles NMN Tongkhuya, 48, was charged with first degree criminal damage to property, according to a Washington County District Court Complaint, in connection with the incident. According to the criminal complaint: Officers arrived at the parking lot after receiving an assault report, and approached Tongkhuya in an attempt to identify him. He said, “You looking for a fight? Bill Pulkrabek faces a misdemeanor charge following accusations that he assaulted his girlfriend.
Washington County Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek was charged today with fifth-degree assault stemming from a May incident involving his girlfriend, the Woodbury city attorney confirmed. The charge is a misdemeanor and carries a maximum sentence of 90 days in jail. The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office previously reviewed the case and decided not to pursue a felony charge. Pulkrabek, who represents Oakdale and parts of Woodbury on the county board, was arrested May 30 after his girlfriend accused him of throwing her on a bed by her hair, holding his forearm over her neck so she couldn't breathe and pulling her down the stairs by her hair.
