Preliminary findings of the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's report say Ronald Bringgold drowned in the St. Croix River Saturday evening. Bringgold was found floating in the St. Croix River about 100 yards from his boat following a boating incident just south of the Bayport Marina Saturday evening. Bringgold was brought to shore by first responders, where he was pronounced dead. Services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Cemetery in White Bear Lake. The incident remains under investigation until the medical examiner's full report, including toxicology results, is complete. That process could take weeks.
