Oakdale, Twin Cities Under Flash Flood Watch
More than two inches of rain is expected between Wednesday and Friday.
The National Weather Service expects a storm system to stall out of the state late this week, potentially dumping more than two-inches of rain across the Twin Cities and parts west. As a result, the NWS has issued a flash flood watch for the Twin Cities, including Washington County, and central Minnesota. According to the NWS: "Showers and thunderstorms will continue to expand today. Widespread rain is expected tonight with a swath of heavy rain across Minnesota. Looking ahead, a frontal boundary will stall out across the area, which will allow the active weather to continue across the region through the weekend."
