Oakdale Patch sat down with Tartan boys hockey captain Jay Friberg to talk about his thoughts on success and his future plans.
Oakdale Patch writer Jeff Roberts sat down with Tartan boys hockey defenseman and team captain Jay Friberg, 17, to find out about his life inside and outside the rink. Oakdale Patch: How long have you been playing hockey? Jay Friberg: A long time. As far back as I can remember. I've been playing since I could walk. Oakdale Patch: What do you love about the game? Friberg: It's a game where you can always come back. If you work hard and stay disciplined, you can always change the outcome. Oakdale Patch: Which other sports do you play? Friberg: I play baseball, football and hockey. I'm captain of the varsity football team and captain of the varsity hockey team.
