Oakdale's Randy's Premier Pizza got national attention in November when its 4-foot pizza was featured on the Food Network show "Outrageous Food." We sat down with owner Randy Hueffmeier to ask about his pizzas and the experience of being on national television. Oakdale Patch: How long have you been in the pizza business and how did you get started? Randy Hueffmeier: I've owned my own pizza business for 24 years. I started out 27 years ago as a manager for a Domino's Pizza franchise. Then me and a buddy decided to branch out on our own and set the pizza world on fire! This looks awesome! I used to make pizzas when I was in high school. I oftentimes had trouble getting a heavy pizza to slide off the paddle and into the oven. How does this guy do it!?! more ›
