Neville joins the top high school senior soccer players in Minnesota to play in the annual Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association Senior Classic Wednesday night
Tartan High School senior Courtney Neville competed in the annual Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association Senior Classic Wednesday night in the Metrodome in Minneapolis. Neville played for the girls red team, which tied the green team 2-all. The boys red team, scored a wild 6-4 victory. The game features the top 44 senior boys and 44 senior girls high school soccer players in Minnesota each year.

North High School's boys soccer team fails to make it to semifinals at Metrodome falling to Maple Grove 2-0
The North St. Paul boys soccer team faced off against Maple Grove in the quarterfinal round of the Class AA State Soccer Tournament on Thursday evening. Playing in front of a near home crowd in Roseville, the Polar team allowed two early goals to Maple Grove in the first half and played catch-up for the rest of the game. The Polars were able to maintain possession of the ball and put enormous amounts of pressure on the Maple Grove squad after the Crimson's goals. Yet, they were never able to break through the defense nor get past Crimson goalkeeper Atherton Wiseman for a momentum-swinging goal. The boys soccer team finished their 2011 season with a record of 18-1-1.

Matt Weingartz, Transfiguration's new Athletic Director, is also the Social Studies teacher and boys soccer coach at Hill Murray High School.
We all know life can get a little hectic at times when you are trying to juggle both work and family. Matt Weingartz, the new Athletic Director at Transfiguration Catholic School, surely knows it. Weingartz is not only the new director, but the middle school Social Studies teacher as well, and at the end of his day he doesn’t go home, but to Hill Murray High School to coach boys soccer. “The fall can be very challenging. I have three jobs that take up all of my time,” he said. “My wife is very supportive. Tartan boys soccer was nipped by Simley 1-0.
The Tartan boys soccer team was edged by the Simley Spartans 1 - 0 on Wednesday evening at Tartan High School. A quick goal early in the first half was all the Spartans needed to pick up a win in the Classic Suburban Conference matchup. The Titans couldn't recover, despite pinning the Spartans in their own zone for much of the final 15 minutes in the first half. The Titans take on Hill-Murray tonight, Thursday, at 7 p.m. at Tartan High School.

The Titans' boys soccer team fell 8-1 at home on Saturday to the Raiders
The Tartan boys and girls soccer teams were in action on Saturday at Tartan High School against Roseville Area, the Titans split the two games against the Raiders. The girls team topped the Raiders 2-1 to open up their season. The Titans (1-0) will play their next game on Monday at 1 p.m. in Moorhead. The Tartan boys squad fell on Saturday to Roseville, dropping an 8-1 decision. The loss was also the Titans' first game of the season, and their next game is at Moorhead on Monday. Game time is set for 3 p.m.

The Polar squad jumped out early with a lead, but fails to quiet Lakeville North offense.
The North High School girls soccer team started out strong Thursday in their home opener for the season against Lakeville North, but the Polar goal lit a fire in the Lakeville North offense. The Panthers responded with four goals of their own in the first half and never looked back. Lakeville North added two insurance goals in the second half to seal the 6-1 victory. North High School will next play Chaska at noon on Saturday at home.
