Updated: Cabela’s Plans to Open Store in Woodbury

Updated (01/16/13): A new Cabela’s in Woodbury would be built near Tamarack Village, not within it, according to a Pioneer Press story. Cabela’s, a national outdoor-goods retailer, announced Tuesday its plan to build a new store in Woodbury. The release from the company said it would open at Tamarack Village, but the president of the company that owns Tamarack told the Pioneer Press that Cabela’s has been looking at buying property at the southwest corner of Radio Drive and Interstate 94, north of the shopping area. Cabela’s plans to open the 85,000-square-foot store in the fall of 2014, with construction set to begin this fall.
