In an extended sit-down interview with KARE 11, former Hill-Murray High School football coach Mark Mauer said of his February arrest for soliciting prostitution in a police operation at the LivInn Hotel in Fridley: "I made a bad decision and I will have to live with it for the rest of my life." Joshua Adewale Olaosebikan faces a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge.
A 32-year-old Oakdale man faces a felony sexual assault charge after he allegedly forced himself on a neighbor in his apartment building in October 2012. Joshua Adewale Olaosebikan lives in the same apartment complex as the alleged victim, and the incident occurred after she asked to use his phone on Oct. 6, 2012, according to the criminal compliant. The woman told police she knew Olaosebikan; they attend the same local college, the complaint says. When she asked to use his phone that day, he suggested they go up to his 40th Street apartment because it was cold outside, according to the complaint. A Hastings man faces two felony weapons charges after police stopped him in connection with a theft report at Mills Fleet Farm and officers later found a sawed-off shotgun in a guitar case in his vehicle. An Oakdale woman has been charged with third-degree murder stemming from the August 2012 methadone overdose of a Scandia man. Emily Katherine Frye, 21, provided Frank Eck, of Scandia, with the drugs that killed him, according to a Thursday release from the Washington County Attorney’s Office. Eck, 23, died of “acute methadone toxicity,” on Aug. 1, 2012, the release says. “We have had a rash of overdose deaths, not just in Washington County, but all through the metro area in the last year and a half,” Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said in a statement. “People need to be aware that providing another person with a controlled substance can make them responsible for whatever may happen to the person receiving that drug, including the …
