An Oakdale priest charged with molesting two boys and possessing child pornography pleaded guilty in Ramsey County District Court Thursday afternoon, according to the Pioneer Press. Curtis Carl Wehmeyer, 48, was arrested in Oakdale on suspicion of child molestation on June 22. In September he was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly sexually assaulting two brothers — one who was 12 years old at the time — in his private camper trailer on the church parking lot. The older brother was 15 years old at the time. Last month he was also charged with 17 counts of child pornography possession. An Oakdale priest who has been charged with criminal sexual conduct involving two boys and child pornography possession made his first appearance in court on Oct. 10. Curtis Carl Wehmeyer, 48, was allowed to walk free from the courthouse after the Ramsey County District Court judge ordered Wehmeyer to have no contact with the two boys he allegedly sexually abused, according to the Pioneer Press. Wehmeyer was arrested this summer after a young boy told authorities that the priest had been sexually abusing him and his older brother for two years in Wehmeyer's camper trailer on the church parking lot. Sure, there's scripture condemning the act of a man lying with another man, but nothing that says men can't lie with a child, right pastor? I bet this deviant trumpeted quite fervently about the importance of "preserving the sanctity of marriage" though.
