Danielle Jelinek's Family Seeks to Raise Money for Larger Reward

A fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 23.

The family of Danielle Jelinek is planning to hold a fundraiser in hopes of increasing a reward for information about her whereabouts.  Danielle Jelinek was reported missing on Dec. 9 after she was last seen with her friend, Aaron Schnagl, at his home in Chisago Lake Township. Schnagl has been named a person of interest in her case and has since been charged drug possession and drug sale. Schnagl pleaded guilty to the unrelated drug charges, but he maintains that he does not know what happened to Danielle.  The Chisago County Sheriff's Office has partnered with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer a $1,000 reward for "information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Danielle."  Cory …

'Person of Interest' in Missing Woman Case Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

Aaron Schnagl, a person of interest in Danielle Jelinek's disappearance, pleaded guilty in court this week to unrelated drug charges, according to media reports.

A man who is considered person of interest in the disappearance of an Oakdale woman pleaded guilty to unrelated drug charges on Tuesday. Fox 9 News is reporting that Aaron Schnagl pleaded guilty to having drugs in his home, which investigators found while searching for Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who was reported missing on Dec. 9. Investigators found 12 pounds of marijuana, and Fox 9 adds that investigators also found cocaine and other pills while searching for Jelinek.   Schnagl has a previous drug conviction and has been on probation since 2007.  Schnagl took a plea deal on Tuesday that will allow him to serve his sentence for the new drug charges at the same time as his previous sentence and will land him a minimum of four and a…

Family of Missing Oakdale Woman Declares 'Do Good for Dani Day'

In honor of Danielle Jelinek's birthday, her family is asking the community to do small acts of kindness on Feb. 1.

It's almost Danielle Jelinek's birthday and her family knows how they want to celebrate it.  Danielle, who was reported missing on Dec. 9, turns 28 years old on Friday. Danielle is known for always putting a smile on someone's face, whether that person was a stranger or a close friend, said Cory Jelinek, Danielle's sister.  With her birthday around the corner, Danielle's family has decided to declare Friday, Feb. 1 as "Do Good for Dani Day." The family is asking people to do a small act of kindness in honor of Danielle. Some examples include: "We want to do a 'pay it forward' type of thing because that's basically who Danielle was," Cory said. Reward Offered for Information on Missing Oakdale Woman Case

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is partnering with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer a cash reward in the case of Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who has been missing since Dec. 9.

The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is partnering with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer up to a $1,000 reward for information regarding the disappearance of Danielle Jelinek. Jelinek, 27, was reported missing on Dec. 9 after she was last seen with her friend, Aaron Schnagl, at his residence in Chisago Lake Township.  Authorities have searched for Jelinek in the area of Bone Lake and have not been able to turn up any clues to her disappearance. Schnagl was arrested on unrelated drug charges and has since been named a person of interest in Jelinek's case. Investigators Call Dive Teams to Search Lake for Missing Oakdale Woman

Danielle Jelinek has been missing since Dec. 9. Multiple search teams have sought clues to her disappearance. The latest search involved dive teams at Bone Lake.

Investigators have taken their search to the water for a missing Oakdale woman who was last seen on Dec. 8, according to recent news reports. CBS Minnesota is reporting that on Sunday a Washington County dive team searched for Danielle Jelinek in Bone Lake, which is near where she was last seen. Bone Lake is located south of Chisago and between Forest Lake and Scandia.  Authorities told CBS Minnesota on Monday that they found no trace of Jelinek during their search. Investigators will continue to pursue other possible leads.  Jelinek, 27 was reported missing on Dec. 9. She was reportedly with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Aaron Schnagl, on Dec. 8. Friends and family of Danielle Jelinek are asking for any help to post flyers of her disappearance in the area she was last seen. Jelinek, 27, was reported missing on Dec. 9. She was last seen at her on-again, off-again boyfriend's house in Chisago Lake Township. Search teams took a higher route while looking for Danielle Jelinek, an Oakdale woman who has been missing for 12 days.

Addtional search teams have been sent out, but there is still no sign of an Oakdale woman who was reported missing on Dec. 9. Danielle Jelinek, 27, has not been seen or heard of since Dec. 8. She was last seen at her on-again, off-again boyfriend's house in Chisago Lake Township. Since her disappearance, Aaron Schnagl — who was the last to see Jelinek — has been named a person of interest in the case.   Searchers spent Monday looking for Jelinek from helicopters. The fresh snow from earlier this month made initial searches difficult when Jelinek first disappeared, but the recent warmer weather prompted search teams to search by helicopters over targeted areas, according to the Star Tribune. Search warrant documents recently made public reveal authorities found traces of blood at the Chisago Lake Township residence where Danielle Jelinek was last seen, according to recent news reports. Jelinek, 27, of Oakdale, has been missing since Dec. 8. She was reported missing on Dec. 9 after no one had seen or heard from her.  The Chisago County Sherriff's Office conducted a search of the home of Jelinek's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Aaron Schnagl, who has been named a person of interest in the case.
