Oakdale Man Visits Jay Leno's Cars
Al Hohenwald of Oakdale got to tour the TV host's vast collection of autos in Burbank, CA, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
Oakdale resident and car collector Al Hohenwald got a heckuva late 80th birthday present, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press: a trip to California to see late-night TV host Jay Leno's own famed car collection.
"I knew we had to do something special," his son, Mark Hohenwald of Lake Elmo, told the newspaper. "I'm not sure how we'll ever top this."
The elder Hohenwald also was in the audience for Leno's show and got to meet the fellow auto fanatic afterwards, the Pioneer Press reported.
